The report linked below [pdf] shows the average monthly population trends for DJS youth in detention, youth pending committed placement and youth committed to residential facilities. The data are gathered from a daily youth count conducted at each DJS facility. Pending Placement youth have been committed to the department and are awaiting placement into a program placement consistent with their commitment order.
